Many years ago my father Jim Bradshaw (born and raised in Waco) shared an e-mail with me that had a long list of "You know you're old Waco if...".
I thought it was pure genius. Just good, wholesome, simple and fun memories of days gone by. I thought it would be fun to put some together for Fort Worth.
My father was very helpful in getting the request out to some friends in Cowtown to get the list started, then it just took a life of it's own...and continues to grow a bit even today.
I miss not having my dad around these days. I always loved to hear his stories about people and places in Fort Worth. I don't think there was a person or place in Cowtown he didn't know at least something about. Many of his own submissions are included on this site.
Thanking the hundreds of people who have contributed, it is my pleasure to be able to share these Fort Worth memories with you. Of course, if you have one you would like to share, please do.
